Ok here is the thing i keep running out of radiator fluid and i cant figure out where it is comming out of. When i lift up my hood it looks like it sprayed out by where the resivor is and there are spray marks on the underside of the hood where is looks like it sprayed out. Anyone else had this problem also it looks like steam is coming from up there too when i open the hood up but not a lot.

 

do a pressure test.

 

It is normal for the cap to release pressure if it is too high but not normal to drain your entire supply. I would have your entire cooling system checked out as asoon as possible. There is a slight possibility that your radiator cap is damaged and is releasing pressure when it is not needed but this generally does not happen. You should get that checked soon.

 

Check for a crack in your radiator. The most common place is on the very top, in the middle, where it looks like it's sealed together. Same thing happened to mine, and I just bought another one and installed it in a half hour.

 

It doesnt release all of the fluid just all that in the resivor and if i topped of the radiator then that is gone too. It doesnt overheat or anything like that i have a mugen radiator cap(1.3) could that have anything to do with it? Thanks
