hey wassup .. got a gsr .. all stock with just an intake ... sounds very quiet so i decided to put it into my frends gsr and it was much louder .. any reason why that would happen ?

 

is there any difference in the years of the gsr

 

did you hook up the resonator in your friend's car? if not, that would explain the sound increase.

 

when u install an intake, u have to plug in a resonator??

Didn't you forget a couple of scew somewhere?? If the resonator is not fix properly, that could be you prob... BTW what did you install exactly? give more details...

 

i have a 95 gsr ... the intake was the secret weapon intake by weapon r .. my frends car was also a 95 gsr .. both of our car has the resonator taken off .. hope thats enough details

yea .. on my car .. its very quiet but when vtec engages , it gets very loud .. but then on the other gsr .. it seems louder the whole time .. and when it idles .. it has a very loud sucking noise ... thanks for the help
