Default power steering question

quick question, are the power steering pumps from a pre 96 integra gsr different from 96+ gsr? because this guy i sold the pump too is saying it doesnt fit because the pump is from an obd2 gsr and his car is obd1. i assumed all b series pumps would fit all b series? i tried searching but all i got was power steering removal threads
