Default Power steering

hello everyone,
I'm new to honda-tech but I just have a quick question about power steering. I have a JDM H22A in my 95 integra and i was wondering if I used the prelude power steering pump with a smaller pulley...can i be able to put power steering in the car. Any feed back or ideas about it would help i've been reading online about it and it seems like it would work but i'm not to sure...

Clearance issues with the stock pulley, right? A smaller pulley will work, but there are some things to consider. First, a smaller pulley will overdrive your pump, ie, spin it faster than it would normally spin. This may decrease the service life of your pump bearings and who knows what else. Not that big of a deal. Also, overdriving the pump will cause an increase in parasitic draw on the engine, so it would take more power to run than it normally would. I guess with an H22, you've got some power to spare though, so that's not that big of a deal either. What the hell, give it a go.
