Default power steering

i want to take out my power steering... can i take it out and will it work.. bcuz my homie said it wont work bcuz of the steering pinion.. he said if the car is equipt w/ps it has to have ps...

how can i take out the ps???

do a search and you will find the kit
for pwrd steering removal..
but it will work if you do it ghetto style
look forward for some excersise

IMO
dont do it no gains by doing this

wrong, it gives you more controlled feel in my opinion, along with dyoned HP from removal of PS.

what an xtra 15hp difference I hope

dont forget that the power steering is passive
it deactivates itself after a certain speed...

deactivates itself ?? It never activates. It's belt driven, as long as the motor is rotating, then the belt is spinning, hence moving the P/S pump, assisting you in steering your vehicle.

scroll down the page and look at the dyno graph buddy, there is HP to be gained if PS is removed. why dont you do your research before posting up such responses.
