Default Power antenna

How would i be able to have the power antenna half way up and disconnect the power to it so it just stays in one place instead of it going up when teh radio is turned on and down when its turned off? but still connected to the radio?

Assuming a 94-01 coupe, pull the left rear interior panel to expose the antenna. Have a friend turn on the radio and disconnect the power cable to the antenna when it reaches the desired position.

The applicable fuse (#3) is not dedicated to the antenna motor. It also powers the integrated control unit, ceiling light, and data link connector.
