Post-Accident Engine Startup: Issues
Three weeks ago I wrecked my Integra by rear-ending someone. The front of my car got owned to the point that the core support needs to be replaced. Today I started the car up for only the second time since the accident and drive it around (my yard) for the first time. I noticed a couple things.
1) There is now a white tint to the exhaust smoke. B18B1, Comptech I/H/C/E, Stock internals. Didn't happen before. It is about as thick as exhaust is on a cold day, for those of you that know what I'm talking about. Not billowing white smoke, but a moderate amount of tint to the exhaust. When revved, gets better (ie, less smoke) if anything.
2) Several times I smelled gas, but I couldn't smell it all the time.
Here's a pic of what happened:

What's wrong here guys?
Ben

The white smoke may be excessive condensation from sitting longer than usual. I don't know about the fuel smell, but if you haven't really warmed it up, you may be experiencing warm-up richness and a catalyst that isn't up to temp.
Does this mean you get to drive the Porsche?
