Default please need help with 97 integra

Hi ht memebers, i will share a little bit of background about this car that i am working on. The vehicle is a 97 acura integra ls automatic. vehicle came to me with a locked up engine. Now the owner has bought a complete obd 1 automatic gsr swap from steve@hmotors.. i did not know that gsr's came in automatic but apparently they do. Rywire had made a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness. this harness allows you to use they supplied obd1 auto gsr ecu and removes the factory tcm. The problem i am having now is that when you turn the ignition key the lights on the dash come on, fuel pump primes, but vehicle does not turn over...but when you take the key out of the ignition the lights on the dash remain on..also there is no power at the ignition signal wire to the starter. this vehicle also has a clifford alarm and when you connect the battery nothing happens, owner claims the alarm would sound when doing so and it does not work. i have disconnected the alarm brain and there is no change, i tried a different main relay and nothing, swapped distributors and nothing,i have already checked all the fuses under the hood and under the dash all were good, i have sanded down all ground locations and replaced the ground from the frame to transmission the ground on the tstat, valve cover, battery, and trans are all secure. I have taken off the obd1 jumper harness and replaced the original obd2a ecu and tcm and problem still persist so that rules out the jumper harness.

Today i decided to see if i can jump the starter and get the motor to start...and i did, but when you turn the key off and pull the key out the ignition the motor stays running. when running you can not shift the car out of park..so im down to either the alarm just quit and i need to wire everything back to factory or theres a problem elsewhere...please help me out and help me get this automatic gsr running...

Obviously there is a wiring problem, the black/yellow lead at the ign. switch, [ign.1] is getting power from someplace other then the ign. switch.

Because the alarm will have both 12V constant and the 12V ign.1 the problem may be the alarm, but if you unplugged the alarm then it should not be the issue.

Try this, test the black/yellow lead on the down side of ign. switch harness plug, then unplug the ign. switch, is there still power on the black/yellow, if not, the ign. switch is the problem, if there is still power on the black/yellow the problem is not the ign. switch and the "short" is past, [downstream] of the ign. switch plug.

If any of the alarm wiring is connected to the ign. switch harness, remove it and repair the ign. switch harness and try again.

If the Clifford unit is an alarm/remote start the ign. switch starter lead, [black/white] may be cut with the alarm leads going to the cut ends of the starter lead. it may be the reason you have no engine crank.

As for not being able to shift out of park when engine is running, either the A/T Gear Position Switch, [#3]needs adjusting, or shift lock solenoid, [#6] is not getting power...

I have searched my sources and can not find a GS-R with an automatic transmission, they all come up DNE or N/A [does not exist/not avalable] the above is from a 97 GS. 94

Ok I really appreciate the help and here's an update..I traced the alarm wires to the ignition switch...when I unhooked the alarm wires from the ign blk/wht and reconnected the blk /why wire like factory I am now able to start the car with the key but it does not shut off..so I completely removed the alarm and associated wiring but problem persists....I can start car through the ignition but will not shut off....so I did a little experimenting and took apart the electrical part of the ignition switch and swapped out with a known working one and no change. With the car running I unplugged he connector from ignition switch to under dash fuse box and car is still running....here's the kicker...when we pulled the ign fuse next to the srs fuse the car shuts off...so I stopped for today but need help on where to pick up...possible problem with the underdash fuse panel or a short somewhere close.

The problem is 12V+ is "back-feeding" to the black/yellow ign.1 lead, that can be anywhere there is ign.1 and a 12V constant, [EG; the PGM-FI Main Relay has both an ign.1 power and a 12V constant power going to it].

I would unplug connections, [EG; engine bay harness] until power is "dropped" from the black/yellow ign.1 lead, that will help narrow down where the "short" is. 94

Ok I really appropriate the help...electrical diagnosis really isnt my cup of tea....but I will look further into this and find this bug.....BTW I was thinking about pulling the fuse box and starting there should I wait and start unplugging connections first?

Start with the plugs on the fuse box, any plug with a black/yellow lead in it. 94
