My car's mods: intake,headers,exhaust,test pipe, skunk2 manifold


whats the best rpm to set vtec and the ecu limiter?

talk to them... They're pretty smart.
a chipped ecu wont add that much hp with your setup.

im not looking for HP, im running a manifold and i dont need the bs p72 ecu vtec at 4400 rpm i need it a little higher.

I'd suggest just getting a chipped ecu and getting it tuned. It'll be worth it in the end, considering most chips will have you running super rich, which means you'll be blowing cash out your exhaust pipe.

You could always im me or email to ask these kinds of questions :-p

For your setup, I would recommend vtec engagement at around 5,000-5,300 rpms
I would recommend a revlimit of 8400 rpms as your running a stock valvetrain & you will not produce positive power past 8400-8500 on stock gsr cams.

Let me know if you have any other questions
