i have a b18b1 redline at 7200 rpm i want to know what the right rpm to launch at is. i have tried a few different rpms but im not sure which is best.

 

depends on what tires you got, pressure its at, and surface your on IMO

 

That depends on alot of things, as listed above and many more, no one knows exactly how your car is, how good your clutch is, or engine for that matter...Only way to tell is to test it and have driven it for a while....Good luck figure it out!

 

i luanch at 3000 still spin a little but not to much that would cause me to lose oh yeah i have an 18b1 also

 

on my 94 LS with I/E/H and dropped with H rated tires, i used to drop it around 3500, it would move off the line....

 

3178 is the best launch point for stock suspension and motor with about 62% tread and stock gsr wheels. If you can do this you will hit 12's all day long. haha If you have intake drop it down to 2997 you'll hit 11's

wth? 3178? haha..that would be impossible to read unless you had the DEFI H.U.D. which is digital and lets you read your rpms like that

 

i launch at about 3300 it spins a little but i hook up well u kinda just have to practice a couple of different launches till u find the perfect launch
