Overheating Problem
I had a problem in which my temperature gauge would sometimes go to the middle and go down to C or stay at C even though the engine is warmed up. So I changed the thermostat w/ an OEM Honda one. Now my gauge goes all the way to H after a few minutes of driving. I refilled my coolant reservior w/ water. My fans also do not turn on. Is there anything I should check and test? What could be the culprit?

If you are sure the thermostat is installed properly, you might want to check the thermoswitch and fan relay to make sure both of those are working to activate the fan. If you have AC, you can turn that on to force both the engine and a/c fans to turn on. If your engine fan comes on and the temp goes down, then it could be the thermoswitch, but if the engine fan does not come on, it could be the relay. I dont have the wiring diagram in my head so the relay could still be bad even if the a/c button make the engine fan come on.
My thermoswitch was bad on my swap so the fan wouldnt turn on at all unless the A/c was on so I had to run the A/c to keep the motor cool.
