Oil Light problem??
Hello to all Gen2 integra owners,
I have a 1992 Integra GS 1.8L and my oil light stays on for a while after starting up and driving away and slowly dims away. Oil is just slightly below full mark in the oil pan but I was wondering if my oil pump is going bad or is there a oil sensor part that is going bad?? Any suggestions would be great!! It just slowly dims away.

in a short sense, if you see that oil light come on, your ****ed.
here is what you need to do
1) replace the oil sending unit. if this is faulty, it could be throwing a false light 7$
2) if its still coming on, that means you have under 7 lbs of oil pressure inside your engine
3)if you still want to make sure you can have the pressure checked at a shop
4) You can replace the oil pump if your crank isnt already knocking or ****ed up.
oil pumps go for 100 at the honda dealer, to replace it everything will have to be taken off on the timing side.
