I put about 3k miles a month or so on my LS.
It has 156k.
Would it be natural for it to burn more more oil than usual, cause i put in a quart about once a month, maybe a lil more depending on how often i'm driving?
I dont have any oil on the ground so i dont think i'm leaking it. i hope thats a good thing.
Let me know guys. Thanks.

Well, my 00 gsr with only 42k miles goes through about a quart every 3k - 4k miles or so. Nothing leaks, so I must be burning it.
Also, I've heard that changing fom 5-30 to 10-30 will help a little with oil burning. But verify that first, its only someting I've heard a few people say, nothing from an authoritative source.

well i already use 10w-30. what else can it be?
I have oil in my spark plug tubes, but i dont think that can be the reason why i'm buring oil.

sure it could, my friends accord did the same thing. his oil was pitch black and had only 30 miles on it. he took it to a dealer because we thought the piston rings could have been fried. they said it was a valvecover gasket. we put a new one on and the oil is fine. just get a new valvecover gasket... its less then $30 and it takes less than 1/2 hour. while ur at it, do a valve adjustment. gl
