Default which offset for 16x7 wheels?

I'm looking at getting some work nezart spoke 2's in 16x7 but im not sure which offset to get.

I can get +42, +38, or +28

I wan't a nice sized lip, but I don't want the wheel to stick out from the wheel well. Any help would be greatly appreciated, pictures would help even more.

just wondering why you picked the +38....I don't completely understand offsets. All I can put together is that lower offset = bigger lip

and I also want to fit a 12.2" wilwood brake kit under these wheels.

The 42 or 38 are the ones that will work. The 28 will stick out too far and hit the fender under suspension "squaut".

what will the noticeable differences be in the +42 and +38? And they'll both fit the 12.2" wilwood kit?

You wont feel a noticeable difference....
If its just for the street, it really wont matter.
Are you using your stock caliper or wilwoods caliper?

If you want some basic info on offsets, go to the tire rack. http://www.tirerack.com

I would contact Wilwood and they should have a spec sheet they can fax you on the sizes and what you may need.

Thanks, I just sent them an e-mail.

It says that it requires at least a 16" wheel, but I think the offset might cause a problem with the wilwood calipers.

Alright I was given this link

http://www.wilwood.org/ds476.pdf

I was told to check the clearances, and i'm not quite sure how to given the instructions given in the link for the specific brake kit i'm purchasing.

Can anyone help me out here in figuring out if the brakes will fit my wheels, or which offsets will fit and which ones won't?

Your going to have to find the wheels you want and contact the manufacturer. Get their specs on the wheel and compare the two.

the wheels I want are in the first post

16x7 Work Nezart Spoke 2's with either a +42 +38 or +32 offset (whichever will fit if any of them do)
