I see 98-01 integras on here with the OEM lip kit, where can i get that? I called my local dealer and they said they cant get it. Also how much do they cost

 

dealers can't get it anymore.. (discont'd) and they're expensive if you can find it

Yeah...they're discontinued....and if you buy a used one be prepared to spend at least $700 for the kit...

you should be worried about price...

little supply, high demand.

when i pieced mine together, i sold it complete for over a grand.

Clearing things up a bit... the lip is an 98-01 Integra Type-R lip, it is still available at some Acura dealers (Cush Acura of Escondido... Scott Edwards, Parts). The side skirts and rear valances or as Acura likes to call them rear and side under spoilers are also referred to as the OEM Optional kit. The kit (sides and rears) which was made only for 98-01 Integras are no longer made or sold by Acura. I got lucky and got a pair of sides from the Acura dealer I mentioned above. Side skirts in my factory color for $160 for the pair approximately 1 year ago. They don't have any more.

BTW, it pays to get to know some of these guys... at least on an email basis... I wouldn't have gotten my sides if I hadn't been talking to Scott Edwards via email.

 

Yea i know its a R front lip, i can get that from a million places. But the rest like you said is discontinued

its still available from some dealers in yellow and nighthawk black pearl....i have an 01 nhp so i was considering buying it for 330 for the front lip plus shipping luckily i found a used one in my color for less then half the price

i would try to find a used one in teh classifieds..if you car is lowered its gunna get beatup by the road, and your gunna have to fix/paint it again. i would have been pissed to pay full price and then scrap it on the ground like i have numerous times already

i def. have seen knockoffs. i wouldnt be too worried about the fitment of the sideskirts, but i wouldnt trust fitment on the rears. also, i ahvent found one that isnt fiberglass. and i def. wouldnt put fiberglass on the bottom of my car.

 

Yea i agree, i know where i can get it in fiberglass but thats totally outta the question. I guess im just goin to have to peice together a OEM kit off e-bay or something
