not reverse lights
i just searched for like 30 min and found nothing. but anywho, the other day my revese lights just stopped working. about a month before that my tail lights did not work, so i found a blown fuse ( back up ) in the engine bay and it fixed that.
now the other day i looked at all fuses under dash, all good, looked at the bulbs, both good (put them in the tail light spot, and then i looked at the fuses in the engine bay and found the back out fuse was blown (this confused me b/c from my last experiance when that fuse is blown my tail lights should not work but they do). i replaced it and nothing they still don't work, i looked at the wiring to make sure no pinches grounding it out some where, nothing now i don't know what to do, anyone have any ideas??
thanks in advance

i had that same problem with one of my eg's a few years back....... in my case i didnt have the panel that tells you whats where and what amperage fuse to use . so as soon as i got it i realized that i had a 5 amp instead of a 20... i hope thats you dilema
well i can tell you where it is. if you look in the pass side under the upper coolant hose you should say a grey plug on a bracket held in by a tranny bolt. now follow that wire down and there should be the reverse switch on the trany. you could rule it out buy unpluging it stick 2 wire in the plug going away from the front of the car towards the back of the engine bay that goes into the harness and hook it up to a battery.you might have to turn the car i dont remember, if the lights come on its the switch on the tranny. i just did one on a 95 gsr at work not to long ago.

i just did that trick u said, and the switch it gone, now i need a new one, just wondering if when i take it off will tranny fluid come out. i think i am going to do a tranny flush anyways so it does not matter i would just like to kno before hand.
now i have new question, vss is not working, i replaced it three time and nothin, the stock one was working and then stopped and then would work once in a while, so i changed it out new one did not work at all, third one would work sometime but not usually. looked at the plug corroted, cleaned it of and look closer and found the stock on had broken a needle off inside the harness, tokk it out and cleaned it off more (connecter cleaner) then work when i drove and then stopped and is not working since then, anyone kno whats up thanks
