Not Charging?
Working on my fathers '95 SE 4 door. Car quitting while idling led me to discover the battery is not charging. Tested on battery and alternator, seeing less than 13 volts engine running.
Testing alternator input plug shows;
4.75 volts on White/Red Alt FR Signal
.04 volts on White/Green Alt Control
11.6 volts on Black/Yellow IG Power
11.6 volts on White/Blue Charge light
Car has 4 wire OBD2B plug.
(Test done engine off, key on)
Battery light is not illuminated with engine running.
I think there should be 12v on all those wires, could anyone point me in the right direction?
(Original alternator, 140k)
Thanks.

Check the battery voltage with engine off. Should be at least 12.2VDC.
Start the car and check again. Voltage should jump up another 1.6V…..to around at least 13.8+. If not, replace the alternator and belt.
