Default Nitrous?

A friend of mine gave me his Nitrous Express kit that was on his car. What other things do you reccomend using along with the nitrous to keep my engine safe. What jet sizes are you using? I have a civic with a B18c what kind of shot can I get away with without any problems?
Thanks

stick with a 55 shot to be safe. I'd hate to think you'd have to go and rebuild your engine when your friend probably meant good by giving it to you. Is it a wet shot or dry? Direct port or fogger? purge kit? how is it activated? wot? or a simple push button?

It is the Nitrous Express EFI kit with the nozle in the intake tube. It has a purge and is activated by a wot switch. I Plan on building my engine in the future but I dont know if I want to go NA or Forced Induction. thanks for the info

I'm gonna assume it's a dry kit... correct? only one solenoid aside from the purge kit's solenoid, right? I'd just stick with the 55 shot to be safe. Shouldn't have to do anything aside from cooler plugs (recommended) and a good safe installation. RUN LINES OUTSIDE VEHICLE, USE SS LINES... NOT NYLON! Only run premium, especially when spraying, but you should run premium anyway since it's a gsr engine. might want to retard ignition timing as well.... good luck

timing should be fine stock if you plan on something around the 55 suggested. In addition to the one step colder plugs (which aren't really necessary til 75+) I would run a fuel jet one step higher so you run a lil on the safe/rich side if you can't tune. if its dry, forget what i sed

Nitrous Express makes a wet kit. You can run the 75 shot safely on a stock motor. Make sure you use one step colder NGK copper plugs, gapped to .030". NX claims that you can use stock ignition timing with their nitrous kits due to the atomization their nozzle creates, but you might want to go back a degree or two to be safe.

yes make sure u change your spark plug. my friend was running a 50 shot NX EFI kit on a del sol SOHC VTEC motor. He burnt and exhaust valve because of a bad park plug
