okay well, me and my buddy were replacing my starter, and when we took out the starter, we forgot to disconnect the battery (we're noobs don't flame pls) and the old starter grounded out and there was a big spark, the radiator came on for like 2 minutes and then shut off while the car wasn't turned on at all, but now that the new starter is in, the car won't start. we connect everything right, but the car won't turn over when i try to turn it on, even tho the cd player and all the lights and stuff works, help pls?

 

have you checked the fuses in the box in the engine bay?

 

yea i did, they all seemed fine, could it be the wire that grounds that's fried? if so were would i pick one of those up?

 

you can get one at any auto store, but I would carefully check the fuses especially the starter fuse and make sure the solenoid is plugged in for sure

 

i know there's a starter signal fuse under the dash, but which one is the starter fuse in the engine bay fuse box?
