This is my first check engine light and I am not sure how to read the code. I mean I followed the procedures and the check engine light blinked 9 times in the same one second pattern, then there was a pause and it repeated itself.

Here is the problem. On an ODB II ECU there is a code for 9 and one for 90. I am not sure which on the 9 blinks comes out to, just the 9 or is the 9 the first number and the pause a 0.

If anyone can help it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

9-Cylinder position sensor intermittent interruption or no signal
90-EVAP system leak detected in fuel tank area or in canister area.

Did you do a certain mod or routine work right before the light came on?

im pretty sure with those mods its a code 90. i threw it after i installed my Skunk2, check all your vacuum hoses and make sure your EVAP lines are all connected clean and not kinked. also you can check your fuel cap to see if its closed tight.

 

Yeah I just had my Skunk 2 installed like 2-3 weeks before the light came on. I am just going to take it back to the tuner shop that installed it. The owner is cool with me and should take a look at it.
