NEED HELP ASAP!! Can't Get Transaxle to Mate Up Flush with Block
hey yall.....I just replaced my clutch and am now trying to put the transaxle back on. I got it on most of the way but i have a half inch gap left. Is the transaxle suppose to slide in with about a half inch to quarter inch gap and the closed up tight by tightening all of the bolts? Or is the transaxle suppose to fit right on with no gap? The transaxle is lined up with the outer ring bolt holes, but it doesn't want to slide in flush with the engine block.

did you use the alignment tool?
and whatever you don't just bolt it up the tranny needs to fit up snug befor you bolt it on. bolting it on to close the gap can crack the case then you really got problems
