Ok a friend of mine just bought a 96 LS. the person before put a b16a block in it with a gsr head. its running an obd2 dizzy,obd2 wiring harness, obd1 to obd2 jumper harness and a obd1 p28 chipped?? he said he put the obd2 p72 in and it wouldnt even start. shouldnt it run with the p72 or is something maybe wrong with the wiring harness. I cant figure it out.

it should work because the only thing you take out is the secondary o2 sensor for the conversion harness but it is not necessary

you could have a bad ecu, are there and CEL's?

take the back panel off the ecu and see if it is fried
