Need ECU help ASAP!!
Hey guys, i need help with knowing if i can daily my B20B with a gsr ecu, i bought a GSR (1998) SHELL about two years ago, i put a B20B long block with a B16 trans into it, i can’t afford Hondata S300 at this time, i’ve heard the B20 loves the ITR base map, i dont know much about tuning but i guess the gsr is similar, so, Can my b20b run fine with a STOCK GSR/P-72 ECU?
NO VTEC ECU will run a stock B20B engine correctly... or even safely. Whatever source told you an ITR map would run a B20B/Z engine well doesn't have a clue... ignore them from this point forward.
The ECU with programming that is closest to that needed to safely run a B20B would be that of a B18B (P74 or P75) and you would need to turn the static (measured with the engine running/idling and the vacuum line disconnected from the FPR) fuel pressure up to about 54psi.

Never run a non-VTEC setup with a VTEC ECU. It will never run right. Yes, whoever told you that BS needs to stop wrenching and pick up an easy hobby….like bird watching
