Well I sold the b16a2 head i was going to put on my b20 w/ ITR cams and stock bottom end and decided to do a non- Vtec setup of:
Crower 404's
Skunk 2 Mani
Valvetrain
P&P
Stock Bottom

My builder told me the B20VTEc would run Circles areoung my non vtec setup!! Should I find another builder? J/K
I hope I can prove him wrong w/ 140-150 lbs of Tq

 

yea, its like 170whp at most with the b20, and like 210 at the most for the b20 vtec

 

I dont understand why would you not want vtec?? You still would have the low end because of the higher displacement.... EDIT- more torque.

I have had several Vtec motors and now I am kinda looking for something different.
I figure ITR horsepower with gobs of torque cant be too bad.
