Default motor mount insert installed

i installed 2/3 of es motor mounts for the time being but im wondering if this is how its suppose to be.

i expected vibration in the cabin and the steering wheel but to what extent? my floorboard even has vibration even when driving at freeway speeds, its like im getting a foot massage when im driving. my engine sounds more "windy" than before.

as far as performance, i have way less wheel hop launching at 4K than previous setup with out the mounts.

anyone have experience with the vibration? my whole front end is rattling like crazy at times.

I have the 2 torque mounts in (no rear) and vibration isnt bad at all. Just the steering wheel for the most part.

i installed 2 of the 3 es inserts as well not too long ago. As far as vibration goes it is not bad at all until idle drops to 700-750rpm. Then it shakes and rattles the dash and gets annoying. I've noticed no problems while cruising. I might just bump the idle a bit to keep the vibration down.

That is so great! Not that your car vibrates cause that sucks but someone else has this problem. tilt, I think most of the vibration is caused by the rear mount. How do you adjust the idle?

there's a screw on the throttle body. you can turn it to adjust idle.

they cause vibration no biggie, youll get used to it . i think its worth the extra strength and support for sure. wiat till you break a few trannies from wheel hop, youll love the vibration when you realize you have non anymore.

they dont really loosen up , if they do , you wasted your money. urathane isnt supposed to just lossen up like that , thats the purpose of everyone using urathane bushings.
at least thats what i get of it .

I had 2 of 3 installed at first and my steering wheel shook pretty badly and I had to take all the change out of my ashtray and coin holder because of the rattles.

I recently installed the third mount (rear). My initial impression: the vibration is still there but a little less. Car felt much better with all three installed than with only two. Steering wheel shook less also.

I didn't notice it much after a couple weeks, other than at idle. I don't keep change in my ashtray any more either, however.

you think that's bad hahaha..try HASPORT mounts with lakewood traction bars and every other bushing in the car (for the most part) beind poly...add this to no power steering, then tell me your inserts vibrate hahaha. i'm not bashing you, the pont which i'm getting to is, you get very used to it after a week or so and you just begin to ignore it and then not even notice it at all. as others said, raise the idle a bit, i will help. it's a great thing when you slam second gear and lay rubber instead of hop and then hit third and do the same...the less my motor moves, the happier i am

Motor mounts suck...thats all there is to it. Im not happy with mine. Much like this situation, everybody said..."Oh they helped wheel hop, they arent that bad...etc etc". Well I dont like them, increased vibration and I still have yet to see any improvement on my launches.

Ya, follow the instructions. You said you didnt install the rear one right? Well, that one is moving around more since the front ones are holding tight now, thus more virbrations. Follow the instructions and install the last one. They are ment to work together. This isn't a "I'll install what I can reach easily" thing.

^^

I agree, install the rear mount, it will take away some of the vibration.

when i did mine, i only put the 2 fronts in, there was a bit of vibration, mainly the steeringwheel at idle. Once the back was in, it was awsome. I still say that they are very worth it, especially if you have wornt out stock mounts.
