major problem with door lock!

major problem with door lock!
ok, my car stop locking cuz the internal part of it broke (the white plastic piece that holds the long metal stick..) anyhow i got a new piece but the problemis that the metel stick fell off and i need to stick it back in. i cant see where it would go. tried seeing it from all directions and no go. its a bitch. so i need a diagram or some info would help me fix this problem. its on the drivers side 94 integ. thanx

Buy a cook book for your car(Advance Auto Parts) , and find out how to get to the lock(take the door panel out, unskrew a bumch of stuff) then mess around with it, it is not that hard.
