Default Maaco

has anyone got a paint job from macco? I am thinking about getting the signature or supreme from there. i went to a lot of places and they asked 3grand or more for a complete paintjob and more me that is way too much. so is it worth it to like spend 1500 at maaco for the supreme or signature. thanx in advance

try sanding your car your self....save a couple of hundred dollars.....if you do all the prep work all you need to pay for is primer paint and labor.

my brother got his ford ranger painted at maaco, and it was a decent job, from a distance. if you get close you can see why its so cheap. i suggest saving and getting it done somewhere else. id rather paint my car myself..

Only go to a Maaco that you've heard good first hand results from. Do that, and prep the car yourself.

I've thought about Maaco, I'm gonna look around for some different body shops first though. I am going to do all the prep work myself though.

I think Maaco is like tattoo shops some are good some are bad you just have to look at their work and decide from there. I've seen good and bad Maaco paint jobs.

Exactly, It's not Maaco in general, it's the shops. I'm sure maaco has some budgets per car to go by but it's mostly prep and final work that determines the best paint job.

If I were you, I'd go to a Maaco in your area and look at the cars comming out of there. Check out the parking lot. That may give you a better idea of what kind of job they are capable of doing.

The thing about maaco is they are franchised, so each one will have different quality of work. So go to different maacos and ask to see examples of their work, and decide if you like it, but as in anything else, your gonna get what you pay for, i got a maaco job and was very unsatisfied.

As far as the prep work, make sure you know what your doing, b/c a good prep job is the most important part of a paintjob, some higher end shops wont paint unless they prep.

That doesnt look to bad at all, my car is in dire need of a paint job, but hey who am I kidding, I'll end up doing something else to the motor instead of getting it painted and pulling the dent in my bumper. Oh well eventually.
