well fixed the codes i was throwing (vtec selonoid . oil pressure) im throwing no codes no but i still have a high idle around 1500. if i plug the hole inside the throttle body it drops to about 1000,1100 and suggestions ? .. its a 2000 ls block with a 94 gsr head . stock intake manifold , holley 68mm tb , aem fuel rail , aem fpr , ect

readup on how to adjust/set your idle and that will help you.

Pretty much.

You should be able to adjust that idle down below 1,000RPM, via the idle adjustment screw.

so you guys are saying that even if i plug the hole in the tb (iacv) and that slows the idle speed but its not the problem?

Try adjusting the idle screw, and report back.

hey i was just outside about to set the idle screw , i noticed that the top dizzy bolt is no longer there i wonder if this is a timing issue . the dizzy looks like its pushed as far back as it can towards the firewall .

the bolt is not broken off or anything , its just not in there .

i was gonna set the dizzy position back towards the middle and see if that helps, then tmrw i can get a timing gun and get it timed
