i have a 96 ls and want to do the v-tec head. anyone know where i can find a b18 v-tec head? decent price? is this a good idea??

Its one thing to ask dumb question about ls/vtec when theres tons of info if you seach, but its another to ask about puchasing a vtec head.

Right.. considering it says " is this a good idea ". Using the search button will also bring up Classafieds and other **** for sale. So how is that flaming?

 

will that head bold right up to my ls block? i know you have to do something with the coolant holes? bore them, or move them. something. i got a buddy who has done the full swap so he can do that for me as long as this head fits right

 

Its really easy to do the swap. Search ls/vtec howto on google, order yourself an ls head gasket, some oil fittings, arp head studs, there are two dowel holes you have to move, a machine shop can do it, or a drill press. Not too bad.
