i have a 92 ls motor with 170***miles and i was wondering how i can make this motor fast without vtec trying to make a fast ls motor. what do ya'll think i should do?
i know its a waste of time but i want to get respected by having a fast ls motor
ive done vtec motor but trying something new
i am goin to rebuild the motor.
anything?

 

cams and pistons would be the way to go.

 

cams valvesprings valves and forged pistons and rods go with either nos a 75 shot or turbo it if your gonna rebuild it completely i have a 95 ls in my civic and i got eagle rods stock pistons crower cams and skunk2 valves and springs plus i got a 75 shot and i beat an evo last week before i misshifted and spun a bearin lol

 

for a fast and good DD is a rebuild with cams and pistons also valve springs.

 

Boost it as is. 10 pounds of boost will get you about 270.

 

no boost for me but yea i was told to that before so i guess imma go with porting the head with forged piston n crower cams or jg heard good things bout them on ls and no shot of nitrous and some valve springs for a higher rev
