Default ls headers same as gsr headers

hi,
doing a gsr swap in my ls teg. apparently the gsr motor didnt come with the exhaust manifold. is my ls one the same? i would assume the gsr one would have a large diameter. thanks everyone

Incorrect. It will fit fine, and assuming you have the cat and exhaust from your LS setup, it will all bolt up perfectly. I'm not sure of any flow differences between the stock exhaust manifolds, but an upgrade should be planned for the near future anyways. Get a header for an ITR, it will line up with the LS exhaust and cat.

well the ls & gsr exhaust manifold UPPER section is the same. now the lower portion is different. on the ls the o2 senor is mount near the end of the piping of the flange where on the gsr it is mounted on behind the front flange of the cat.

it will bolt up but its (the LS) is longer.

If you are swapping a 94-99 GSR motor in, the header will bolt up to the head, but will NOT fit the cat. Different flange and length. Same diameter though.

If you are swapping in an 00-01 GSR motor, your LS header should bolt on.
