Lower ball joint compatibility?
I was wondering if the lower ball joints are interchangeable between civics and integras? Reason I ask is because I have a pair of brand new front lower ball joints for a 88-91 CRX Si that my buddy wants to use on his 95 Integra. I see that part numbers are different between Integra and Civic, but does anyone know if they are the same?
Thanks.
Thanks.

92-00 Civic and 94-00 Integra Ball joints are the same.
88-91 Civic and 90-93 Integra Ball joints are the same.
Those CRX ball joints will not work on a 95 Integra. Honda does not use different part numbers for the same part.

We ended up learning this the hard way after pressing in both balljoints. Yeah... the CRX balljoints didn't work. The body of the balljoint for the integra is slightly longer to allow the snap ring to fit into its groove.

On another note, at least you know more now than you did before, and someone will appreciate your findings if they wondered the same about ball joints as you did.
