Default lost to an si

i lost to an si last night with my gsr had about total of 700lb (people and my system)
while the si had 1 guy and 2 girls he beated me by about one hood got to the party and he said his car was all stock i was wondering if the problem was my car or the weight factor

you need to be more specific... what kinda si was it? 92-95 or 99-00? what year gsr are you? 93 or 94-01? if it was an EG i think you really suck. if it was an EK/EM whatever then maybe he just really good. or maybe he isn't stock he just thinks he is you said he just bought the car maybe he hasnt check everything out yet or maybe he just wanna make you feel sad and post on HT. haah

my car was fully pack with my friends im just wondering if the weight was a factor and i know i can drive so thats not even the question

stock for stock a gsr is only a little faster than a si and since you havd more weight its no suprish that you lost whick is ok

mybe cuz his car newer and your engine been beaten on and weakened? theres many factors. maybe with 2 girls in his car he had a suddent flow of juice and shifted perfectly evertime.. or maybe hes not stock

Who cares about his english skill....he's fine.

Maybe because you had your car fully packed. Stock to stock, GSR is not that fast compared to EM1 but you should still win if raced. You're fine my man. Don't beat up yourself.

weight really does matter IMO. Cause when I have a full car load, my car feels really heavy and honda's aren't known for torque.

GS-R vs Si comes down to the driver. If both vehicles are stock, it'll be pretty damn close. The GS-R might have a slight edge due to the flatter torque curve.
