I am looking for the best spark plugs for my car. Help me out here. I had a Few Choices Below and am willing to pay $ if I can see improvements or engine longevity otherwise frugal it is. So many choices so little time. Give me a or

1) NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
Or

or
3)Denso

Here is a link to a recent discussion on spark plugs: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=156870 .

There is no need to change the spark plug wire on your car, especially since it is a '98 and it is not boosted (supercharged or turbo). Also the stock plug wires are very good quality.

Heres the question then. Does Bosch pay Import Review to say good things about there plugs. It sounds to one sided and to good to be true

The Bosch name is good enough to sell itself, for the most part.

I doubt they've even heard of ImportReview.

otherwise frugal it is.
I took the frugal route. In my '97 LS w/I/H/E/Test Pipe I run the NGK V-specs I think. I bought them at Discount Auto Parts, they were only 2.99 each, and so far I have not noticed any decline in performance. Altough it did seem to smooth out my idle a tad bit, but that could be all physiological. From what I hear and see from other people, my plugs get the same job done as others I spoke to who ran the very expensive ones. HTH

Get stock replacement NGK plugs. Use stock plug wires. Unless you've got serious HP adders, the stock ignition system is wonderful.

Why not the Bosch Platinum 4? They are fairly cheap?

I would stick w/ stock wires and NGK copper plugs.. their economical AND effective.. the stock wires really are not bad.. and since your not heavily modded, dont have an ignition box, and just have basic bolt ons, the stock wires will suit you fine as they do their job... if they are in need of replacement I'd consider another set of stocks, NGK, Bosch, MSD, or Magnecors.. but unless theres something wrong w/ them/their worn out/too old.. I'd just stock w/ stock wires.. you wont really see any benefits unless your stock wires were bad in the first place

just get copper plugs. they provide the best spark. you might have to change them more often, but they give better perf.
