location and testing of coolant temp sensor and MAP sensor on 90 Teg?
car is getting bad gas mileage and I was told to check these two sensors. I dont know where they are, nor do I know how to test them.

pick up a manual, it will give you the location as well as the graph that will help you convert your ohm reading to a temp reading.

here is what my horrible chilton book says:

next to two black cylinders w/hose sticking out to intake
and the sensor you are looking for is black box w/hose sticking from underneath.
coolant sensor the one to the gage goes right underneath the distributor
single plug
for the ecu is in the black of the block near the oil filter
the one w/two plugs is the fan switch another is the oil pressure switch..
ps all those that told him to search

and yes and something else is free for you and will give it to you anytime..
