i dont like my kumho's. they slip alot. they aren't horrible, but you should really think about investing in another tire. you might regret it later. anyways> if you're sticking with them you should find them for about $60 a piece.

Once you get the right balance of air pressure in the Kumhos, they are great. I have run P Zeros, RE010 and the RE72. The Kumhos are better, IMO, than all of those.
The one tire I am curious about is the Falken Azien...

Yeah I'm not too satisfied with my kuhmos. The ride comparted to my old RE730s is much worse and they are not as grippy. But not bad for a $60 tire.

In order for you to keep the speedo correct, you would need 205/50 15, not 205/45. I have the kumhos and I like them, and would recommend them as they are an excellent value.

expect at least 3-6 seconds less on a road course with re010's then kumho ecstas...I always run at least one session with new street tires at my home course (heartland park - topeka 1.5, 1.8, 2.2, 2.5 mile track configurations) so I know their limits before driving on the streets.

Kumho ecstas = nice driveability on the street for $$. + excellent wet driveability. Don't expect to win drag races with them either....

hope that helps.

IMO- in my opinion. but about the tires ive herd good things about them. this is the first time ive herd bad. i love my tires look into them. pirelli p7000. the guy told me that they arent made here (the set i have) he said that he got these from germany and they stick much better than the ones that are sold here. i got the last set at discount tire. i got them for like 80 each. i love them and everyone who sits in my car loves them too. only down side to them is the tread wear. its rated at 160 and i just got my tires rotated (less than 2000 miles) and the front was pretty worn.. but they are great, i take turns hard and fast and i have never come to the point were i havent been confident about these tires. i love them. goodluck

I grabbed some Bridgestone tires from the local firestone place. They have them on huge discount because of the whole Ford thing. The ones I got are sweet (forget the model).

I used to run Yoka's but they sucked.

the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's are alright if your on a budget.. their in no way really good tires.. i mean their OK not horrible.. and for the price they cant be beat.. but there are better tires out there that you can get..

Personally i have the Dunlop SP Sport 9000's and i LOVE them.. the Bridgestone RE730 is also a great tire (all my friends love their RE730s) and also the Bridgestone S-03's is great.. i havent been tire shopping for a while.. but i heard from my friend that has a 4 door teg that tirerack has them for like $80 in the tegs stock size... dunno.. thats what she told me last week so maybe u can still get that price for the S-03's..

btw you should go 205/50/15.. not 205/45/15...

the Huhmos are better than stock, so is any tire.
the Kuhmos are good for the price, but they do not grip.
I can't complain though. I got them for $125 for all 4 mounted and balanced!! (I traded someone that was selling his car).
I will try Falkens next time.
