Key problem
When I go to unlock my car the key will turn to the left freely, but it barely turns to the right... and sometimes I cant even turn it at all. It only seems to be getting worse. Do you think that it could be the key that is getting worn down, or the tumblers are getting worn and getting hard?
Try both door (driver and passenger). See if they both do the same thing. Also, a key from the dealer should be less than $10 if you want to try getting a brand new one. My old key could barley unlock my door, and I got a new OEM one that opens the driver-side perfectly but the passenger-side doesn't work too good. It turns fine but then you have to put more effort to turn it back so you could pull the key out. That's probably because my passenger-side lock is messed up, but I don't really care cause I never really use it.
I jsut thought that it was strange that it turns to the left freely but the right is more difficult. I guess i will stop by the dealer and pick up a new key. I know how to re-key a house so if my door lock is broken it can't be too different.
