So HMO online has the Base RSX longblock for $900 plus shipping. I have a 2000 LS and this caught my attention. It says the specs are 160hp and about 130lb torque, would this be noticeable over my LS? Another thing is not sure how much it would be for tranny and then to make it work. Would this be cost efficient? What you guys think?

 

Well it depends on whats noticeable for you.

It would need everything that a K swap would. Axles, mounts, etc. You have some choices in transmissions , all of which belong to the K family, but it all depends on what deals you find. They typically are not too cheap.
