Default K20 DA?

Does anyone know if its possible to swap a K20 in a 90-93 integra?
Ive seen it done in EK's and EG's and EM2's. But just wondering if anyone seen it done in a DA...

Im thinking it would be really hard to swap because of the cross member bar underneathe the sub frame... I couldnt even fit a DC 4-1 header because of that bar.

Well if anyone could send me a link, pix or some info on it i would appreciate it.
Thankx in advance...

not possible...hasport doesnt even make mounts for it, itd have to be a completely custom and fabricated job...more work than its worth, not to mention the cost of the motor itself

did u really just say its NOT POSSIBLE on a swap for a honda?? if course its possible, but u cant use a stock x-member, u'll need an aftermarket one. i know the DA is kinda the honda the aftermarket FORGOT (compared to EFs of the same years) but yeah its possible, u would just need to have the motor mounts made to fit. i bet a set of EF hasport mounts could be modified to fit the DA, they arent THAT different

It is possible, but expensive. Not many have done it.You can get the mounts for about $450 from innovative.(http://www.swapshopracing.com/index....rget=d590.html)Then you need to convert to hydrolic tranny, get custom axles, custom fuel lines.and most importantly a custom wiring harness from rywire for about $300.(http://rywire.com/store/9093-integra...dd28319fe5a0a0)
Including the engine it will run close to $9K or $10K,but it will be a kickass DA
Good luck

Totally possible.. I believe the pic above is of a member over at G2IC.com He has a complete writeup of how he did it and what is needed to stuff the K20 motor into the DA.

His user name is 6spd da6 or something like that. I tried looking around but couldnt find his thread. It probably got deleated or something because g2ic is pretty notorious for that. He never really posts there anymore because right after he finished the build he sold the car I believe. It was up on ebay and it ended at 10k.

The Innovative Mounts are prone to breaking from what I hear

HaSport is saying they will finally have their new mounts out for the K20 -> Da swap within 2 months .. Otherwise, you can do what that guy did and cut up his Hasport EF mounts and made them to fit in his DA

This guy has been destroyed.

That orange DA is the only one I have seen with a K20 and i'm pretty sure it was in the classifieds on here when I saw it awhile back. Damn, what a job he did with that thing.

Yeah, there's an article on an orange DA with a K20 in an previous issue of Honda Tuning. No Ps or Ac but whatever, it's a K20. Kudos to the rich bastard that had the money to shove it in there and make it work
