just ordered a testpipe from testpipe.com...
So I ordered a test pipe- they're making it with 1 O2 bung- it's going on a 94 integra GSR.
I did some searching on the board- A lot of people are talking about wrapping the o2 sensor in aluminum foil and tucking it out of the way, when using a test pipe. I'm assuming it's because they have a test pipe with no o2 bung? sounds kind of weird.
Anyway- it should be here within a few days. Any dyno results from using one on a 3rd gen Integra?

let us know how the install goes cause i heard bad things about them and their test pipes not fitting right. the alluminum trick is so that you dont throw a CEL unless they put some cat material around the bung it will throw a CEL.
that's strange, because last time I took apart the exhaust system, I saw that the O2 sensor screws into the top of the catalytic converter, just after the flange where it meets the header.
It extends into the free space of the exhaust stream before that catalytic converter core, and no "cat material" touches it.
I'll let you all know how it fits.

the air sensor is sensative to unburnt fuel in the exhaust, which the cat reduces. By placing the O2 sensor in a test pipe it will likely read to rich and throw a CEL. I dont know why wrapping it in foil makes any difference, but people say it does.
Also I was under the impression that OBD1 cars didnt have o2 sensors in the cat... apparenty i was wrong.

My o2 sensor is in the cat, in front of the core. So it's exposed to the exhaust stream coming right out of the headers.
I'll take some pics when I do it.

i just did the same thing with a testpipe from testpipe.com
O2 sensor is in the cat. I have 94 GSR.
no dyno results because it was too damn loud but i did notice a small diff
in performance mostly up top.
too bad u got that testpipe cus im selling mine for $30 shipped
