JDM Type R Conversion
hey heres a link https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=336246 be prepered for spending a good coin on that and its harder then it looks if not done right
up here in canada u are seeing it more but still not alot of them, price is to high to even think about it and if not done right which i know how to do it but still if not it looks messed up
i dont know about youy guys but i see conversion all day long...here in SF. Sorta getting played out *shrug* still nice tho
ANYWAY, there was a post by HT member MASE on how to do the conversion. it seems that getting the radiator support done by a professional, then doing the rest yourself(all bolt on) is probably the best way to go.

I'm doing the JDM conversion myself... the new radiator support wasn't that hard to do... The only problem that im having are all these little brackets and supports. IMO the JDM conv. looks clean and best of all its OEM Honda

hehe my friend is thinkin twice now...we both do'nt know how to weld and he doesn't wanna **** anything up..and he figures having a shop do it would cost soo much hmm dunno see how everything turns out..
just remember, once you get started, theres no turning back.
youre going to spend thousands on parts alone, and several hours of labour. A good body shop will charge top dollar so consider these things as well. another 6-800 dollars in labour is a hefty tab.
good luck
