I been searching online for a JDM front conversion package but i get numbers around 2-3k for it.. if anyone knows of any websites where i can get a JDM front for a good price and not get ripped off please let me know. and if 2-3k is a good price make me aware of that as well.. thanks

I got my JDM front end from JDMtheory.com and had no problems with them at all. GREAT people to deal with.

I got my JDM front end with the OEM HID headlights for $2150+shipping
and I the same shop has the non hid front end for $1550

whatttt over rated? over priced? of course it cost money, u change the look and style of ur car. and it may not seem like it to u but ofcourse in ur neighbor hood u will have a one of a kind integra..why? because of the 1 peice headlight honda front end :] if i had the money then yea id do this, but i dont so i just focus on other aspects of my car.

Can you give a reason why it wouldn't be overrated or overpriced? Does it make your car faster, or more comfortable? No, it only makes you feel cool because you got the m@d JDM. If you really have covered all the other aspects of your car and have nothing to spend your money on, or if you get a really really good deal, then I'd say it's not worth it. Would you rather put money into how the front end of your car looks, or how fast it is? I say the OP should stick to what he has because it works perfectly fine, and put the money into a nice suspension, wheels/tires, engine, etc.

Have any of you jdm front end haters ever consider that people just want to do it because they like the look and want that look for their car too? No but wait, all you haters have to put some kinda dumass aspect of performance or m@ tyt3 JDM **** YO into it huh? Perhaps even most of you haters have **** poor money management skills to even figure out how to save money. So since you can't have it, you have to hate out of jealousy. Perhaps that's even why the money issue seems to be brought up every single time someone hates on the jdm front end.
But perhaps maybe....JUST maybe, they wanted something different than some ugly *** looking fiberglass body kit that will crack and not fit right. So many reasons....

Feel that that was rediculous? Well so is your haterade. Finally....why can't you just accept that this is what the OP or anyone else wants to do to their ride and really....you have no say or room to talk about it. Why?....BECAUSE IT ISN'T YOUR FAWKING CAR. Furthermore....IT ISN'T YOUR FAWKING MONEY THAT'S BEING SPENT. Oh but wait..everything about Hondas HAS to be performance based huh? Someone just can't fix up their car just for looks coz for all you haters....its just too taboo. Like dude, yo it's like the deadliest sin for which you will go to hell. It HAS to go fast yo...like zoom zoom yo. Otherwise you're an outcast in the Honda community yo.....mad tyte suspension pieces yo....go turbo yo...if not you suck yo...Oh wait...am I wrong? I'm wrong??? well gee....based off all the haterade I see....it sure seems like I'm not.

its a personal opinion. i like it. and if i had the money i would do it. just figure in a paint job too. most of the conversions arent your cars color, or have scratches on them from shipment.

Check the northeast marketplace. that way you wont have to pay like 300$ in shipping. cause most jdm front end conversion ive seen run anywhere between 1200-2500 depending on place and hid or nonhid. but still an addition 300$ jsut for shipping is not for me. im trying to find local or buying piece by piece. i saw one jdm from end conversion going for 1300 somewhere on the northeast forum. check it out since it would be easier on shipping or you could go pick it up.

If the guy wants a jdm front end then dont try and talk him out of it. I love my front end conversion. Yes I am sure that I could have spent that 2k somewhere else but its what i wanted and I love my car for it.

Do what you want, dont let someone try and tell not to do so you can buy bigger brakes or make your car fast.

different strokes for different folks.

I like the JDM front end myself. But, I will say get the one with HIDs. If you don't you will curse yourself out later. I have ridden/driven in cars with HIDs/non-HIDs. They are soooo much brighter and cooler. HIDs FTW!!!!

Haha wow didn't think what I said would make you freak out so bad. And yes I do have a place for my opinion here, this is Honda-Tech where people talk and share opinions and info. No I am not jealous, and no I cannot afford it. Yes I do like it, but then again it's not really anything too original considering everyone has one nowadays. What's your point? I'm saying that it's not worth it. Don't cry now.

My point is, if you don't have anything constructive to give the OP, then don't even bother. People are here for help, not someone's opinion. I believe the GDD is a place for that. And if everyone has one, how come you don't? You're saying its not worth it? DUDE, why not re-read your post. Saying its overpriced and OVERRATED in general IS saying to someone that it's not worth it. At the VERY least to you! Cry? Hell no, I'm just being sarcastic ( if you couldn't tell ) because all I see these days are people hating on something that, honestly for the most part, isn't something gawdy or an eye sore. Its clean, and yes, OEM, but its not some multi colored cracked, unpainted fiberglass kit ( unless they chose to leave the conversion like that ). And its not a useless mod to boot. It actually does serve a purpose. What I don't understand is why everyone that hates on this feels the need to associate OEM body parts to performance parts when the main reason why people do the jdm front end is because....well....they love the look of it.
Fair enough?

I can agree with that but I'd say that most people get it because it's JDM, not only just because they really like it that much. If they had sold both the USDM front and JDM front in the U.S. at the same time in the same years as an option for either one, I don't think people would like it as much as they do now. I think it's just that JDM factor that everyone is so obsessed about. And all I basically was saying was, I think the OP should put the money into performance instead of the JDM front end. I'm not saying the JDM front end is gay because it doesn't help with performance, I'm just saying I don't think it's worth it considering what else you could do with the money, especially if you already have a perfectly good USDM front end on (and it's not wrecked or riced out or anything). That's just my opinion. You're sick of people hating on the JDM front end, and I'm sick of people putting so much money into them just because they're JDM. I'm sick of the whole JDM thing altogether... the real vs. Rota people, useless Spoon and Mugen parts just because they're JDM, super-expensive body pieces that could be bought for 1/5th the price non-JDM, $1200 headers, etc.

Damn a lot of people are getting upset over this. Obviously it is the OPs choice of what he does to his car, but anyone can voice their opinions.

That being said, I agree Hatch_R in that although it does look very nice, $1300 can do a lot for adding horsepower and although I do personally plan to have my Integra some day with an JDM front, it will come after 11s, suspension, rims, and braking. Yes, I would also buy Rotas because they are altogether around only 8 lbs heavier. This is only MY personal choice and I don't hate on those stock Integra LSs with JDM fronts. It's their choice, after all.
