Default JDM DC Header question

anybody know if i need the flange for the cat? i gotta gsr homeboy from the shop told me i didnt need one, so i dunno if he bullshietin or what...if i do need one, anybody know where i can buy one around the bay area? thanks for the help.

cat is preferable, but flange will work also. any muffler shop can make one for you.

yeah....i dont have that much cash for a hi flow cat right now....whats the average price for a custom made flange? one thing im sorta cunfused about: does the DC JDM header already come with the 2.5 collector? thanks alot for the feedback.

custom flanges are quite cheap, go to muffler shop and theyll hook you up...i highly reccomend saving like 80$ and getting a carsound.

buy the flange from jdmhondaparts.com. it's like 35 bucks. that's what i did and had the muffler shop cut my stock cat and weld it back with the flange. my car runs great with everything.. you'll need a 2.5" donut also. you can get that from the honda dealer. it's a s2000 donut. cost me $25. hope this helps.

i just got a 2.5 Catco cat, so ill need the flages in and out, the donut gasket and the o2 sensor bunge...the donut gasket is only on the inlet of the cat is it? thanks for the feedback yall...
