Default itr front end conversion quick question

is it necessary to switch the radiator support to the jdm one? or will the jdm front bumper, headlights, fenders, hood and all fit with the usdm radiator support.

I feel sorry for you. I see at least one teg with jdm front end everyday on the streets. Then everyday at school i see a white type r and a yellow g3 with a jdm itr conversion. Then at least once a week I see a NSX on the freeway.

Not true. The fenders, hood and front bumper can go on. The front bumper....however....would be held on by the side screws/bolts alone

Its the headlights that won't go on. Trust me....I had to tell the body shop I went to to swap the usdm one out for the jdm radiator support after they "tried" to get it to fit

well then have fun making it fit,you have to at least chop the top of the jdm rad support and weld it to the usdm one to make the headlights fit other wise it defeats the point of having a jdm front in the first place, ppl get them to make there car stick out and look clean..clean being the main concern.do it right not half *** that just my twho cents

hmm.... i don't think u know what u talking about. the hood will not fit. its longer then the stock.the latch will slam on top of the usdm radiator support. and for the fenders, it will stick out over ur stock radiator support. but i guess if u like rigging ur car then yea sure anything will fit

I beg to differ. I DO know what I'm talking about. Did I in my post mention that the hood WILL close? No. I said it would go on...and it will. Will it be functional? HELL NO. Would I drive a mess like that down the road? Only if you give me the 6 winning numbers to the power ball lottery....

And....I don't think you can read too well as I did state this:

and no...I don't jerry rig my baby.....that's an unforgivable sin

We have like 10 or 15 JDM-front Integras for the whole state haha. But that's just another reason why not to spend the money on a JDM front end... it's really not original at all and everybody has it, and you'd be better off putting the money into performance stuff.

But I've seen the USDM support modified for the JDM front end... I forgot exactly what was done but something was bent or sliced off or something like that, and it all worked as far as I know. BUT I don't know the specifics or anything on it.

Only 500 cause the previous owner tried to make it fit with a USDM support?

Then why the criticism? You came off sounding like I love to jerry rig cars.
Well if its a misunderstanding then my bad.

Next time I'll be sure to duct tape my front bumper on and continue it down the side as one huge stripe.....saving the cost for paint. It'll look mad tight yo!
