Hey guys i've recently started having an issue with the running lights and instrument lights in my car. They just have gone out completely, when I use my turn signal or tap my brakes the lights turn on like normal. The instrument lights do not turn on at all as well. This is something that just happened over night. Does any one have any ideas on how i can fix this? Thanks in advance.

 

Just figured I would add its a 2001 4 door integra.

 

already checked fuses?

 

I was checking out the fuses but i don't have my fuse cover for underneath the dash so i really don't have an idea as to what fuses are for what.

Ok so i took a look at the fuse diagram for underneath the dash and none of the fuses looked to be blown... Where should I look next? Could there be a bad relay?

You only visually checked the fuses? Stop looking and start actually testing.

Bust out the multimeter and do a continuity test.

Relays can (and in this case, probably should) be tested as well.

 

Okay i probably should have worded that better, I tested and replaced the fuses for the running lights, running lights relay, license lights and instrument lights but still nothing. Where would the relay for the running lights be located? thanks again for your help guys

 

you checked the one under the hood too?

 

No I didn't look under the hood, which fuse would it be under there?

check the interior light

 

Alright i just checked under the hood and that fuse is good too.
