Default integras at the dyno

My cars at the shop now getting dnyoed ive got a fully build gsr n to be honest im paranoid about valve clearance in vtec im hopeing for the best but it starts up with no problem so out of vtec theres no issue that i can hear but i can only wait n find out.
my set up is

Supertech flat valves
Super tech dual springs
Supertech TI retainers
new valve locks
honda head gasket
12.5;1 pistons
eagle rods acl bearings
and Skunk 2 pro1 cams
hondata s200

wish me luck.

ill let u know if it survives and what it makes.

Right on, good luck! I'm curious to see what it makes, what header/exhaust and intake are on it?

As long as the heads torqued right and the valve lash is set and its still the same as the stock cams you should be good also if the valve lash was not set to spec that's gonna be a big issue going into vtec. i had the same setup on a 11:6 comp with hytec big tube header and bc spec 3 catback and aem 3'' cai, rc 310cc hondata s100 made 216hp!

196 is not disappointing man stock itr motors make around 170-180 ish. stop the negativity and put a bad *** final drive in your transmission and call it a day

What type of dyno? Like Lortt said, what I/H/E? Those make a big difference.

Call it ignorance on my part, but i don't understand why you would spend all this money, time and effort to go NA and make less power than a stock block turbo setup. Honestly, with what i assume you've spent (and plan to spend with the built/sleeved setup), you could EASILY put down 450-500whp on a boosted setup. Just a thought...i come from a different world of Honda tuning . Good luck with whatever you decide

So your tuner says a 1.8ltr with 12.5:1 compression is not as good as a 85x89 built block. It was very nice of him to state the obvious.
Like many above have mentioned your Intake manifold, Intake piping, Header and exhaust are very important to get the most out of your set-up.
What size injectors are you using? Did you max them out?
Since you mentioned GSR I will assume you are not using the GSR manifold at least.

Yeah but N/A ~= turbo and there's no point in comparing. There's a big pwer range any particular car with any particular cams and pistons will make, and a lot depends on the type of dyno used, the tune, and the type of other mods like I/H/E. Whether 196 is 'good' or 'bad' depends on how all those factors line up.

as far as intake just a short ram. BLox IM 68mm omni TB. Tri-y Headers no cats 440cc injectors.

as far as turbo ill end up spending what i did on a complete turbo kit as i did on all motor. when i know people around here for instance one person i know has the same set up with a bigger piston and he ran 11.90s all day. soo yeaa. im happy witrh set up i have overall

The dyno itself has a big effect on numbers. It's different being on a Mustang dyno vs a Dynajet, and even within one type of dyno different operators and dynos give different results. The proof is in the 1/4 mi.

maybe its just me but with that setup i would expect more than 196hp. u should be at least at 206whp especially with a s200. what was the fuel/air ratio like? hey just my opinion good luck on future mods

What is a DynaJet? I think you mean DynoJet.
If the numbers you have posted are the SAE numbers they seem pretty good. With the Pro 1's and the 12.5:1 compression I would have thought a bit more.
You many want to look into replacing the BLOX IM with a Skunk2 Pro or an Edelbrock Performer X. The Blox's IM runners are at an efficient angle for the GSR head.

WHAT?
You are changing from Pro1's to Tuner 2's.
Please post the comparison graph. This would be very good information for people trying to understand the differences between these cams.
I think you will see some big changes in the area under the curve.

Yeah, pro1's aren't very good. OP I'll give you $200 for them.
