"poorly wired and has some ignition issues"

That for me was the deal breaker, wiring is so annoying. Are you good at fixing the issues?

for 2K i'd say yes. you may be able to talk him down to 1.7k. if that was here in Ontario(Canada) it would go for 3K+ lol if not more rust drives prices up like no other around here !.

I fail to see whats so great about hatches.

They are ugly, and Integras are put together much more solidly. Not only that, having to buy a H2B kit and B16/GSR trans negates anything saved by parting out the Integra.

The only up is that the VX weighs something like 2,000lbs with a h22 in that I can see the TQ being fun but still.

Fail to see how that is true. 92-95 civics and 94-01 integras share the same suspension components. They are pretty much the same car with a different body. How would that mean 1 is put together more solid then the other?

Fit and finish on an Integra is 10x better than a hatch. Wiring harness for one, much neater done stock for stock, they are more solid and less rattly FWIW. Plus hatches have zero for comfort, unless you pillage an EX coupe and/or Integra.

Its your money, but I personally won't buy Anything w/a swap. Get a stock one that hasn't been all geeked and build it right. Or buy this one and deal w/gremlins forever

that 1/4 panel looks questionable.. I would have to say its been in an accident. I wouldnt touch it for that.. Get a stock integra that hasnt been molested and work it how you want.
