i'm going to get a new integra. word on the street is that the 97 gsr or the fastest cause it has a different ecu for that year. is this true. I'm going to make it mostly show but want enough zoom to back myself up. it'll be on the bottle and also supercharged. help me get the right model. also it has to be power everything. thanks for your input

Re: integra pwr (bgx9ner)
All gs-r's have the same amount of power(94-01) except for the ones that were below 94 which came with b17 , which had about 160 hp

If you are planning on supercharging and running nitrous, you are going to be getting in over your head unless you know what you are doing and build a setup that can handle it.. Just get a GSR, learn about the car, and build it slowly don't just jump in... Just my $.02

Only difference from 97 to the newer ones (gsr) is it was OBD1 now its OBD2. Right? Maybe that what he means...got me though.

Re: integra pwr (Hugh Bowie)
I heard something about 94-95 gs-r's being OBD-I and being slightly faster or something.. Don't quote me on that, I heard it on 'dA sTreeTz'

Re: integra pwr (bgx9ner)
to answer your question the only advantage you will have wtih obd1 is that its easier to chip/program. From what I have heard from HT is that obd2 is a little bit more locked down. As far as faster you heard wrong but thats all good. Anybody correct me if Im wrong but thats what I have picked up from here

Re: integra pwr (twotone)
The 94 95 GSR's are obd1,the 96 to 97 have a less restrictive obd11 the 98+ have a revised obd2 which is more restrictive. 97 was a good year.
