Default Integra Final ratio question...

Hey all, I'm building an LS for the Honda Challenge H4 class. And since the LS gearing is so tall and final drive gearing is free in HC, I'd like to know which B-series final drive will give me the best ratio? I'm assuming its the ITR, but I'd like to make sure. Also, is there a difference in the final drive between the US ITR and the JDM ITR? I've searched the web for drive ratio listings, but haven't been able to find any. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

UDSM ITR final drive is 4.400 (same as GSR's and B16's....but it has an an LSD)

JDM ITR final drive is 4.785

I'd probably go with the JDM ITR final drive combination because I had used the 4.400 final drive in my LS (with my exisiting LS gears). The gearing was slightly better, but it hardly made a difference because all my LS gears were still there.

If you plan on keeping your LS gears, try going the 4.785 route. Check in the Integra Type R forum, lots of final drive discussion there.

I'm not sure what you need to get the final drive to fit, but I do believe you need at least an ITR or GSR differential. The LS differential won't accomodate anything other than the stock 4.266 final drive ring gear.
