Default which integra to buy

Hi everyone, im new to honda tech, and i have a question. Im planing to buy an integra in the next couple of weeks/months and i need your advice on which model to buy. I plan on completely building the engine for turbocharging. I was going to save a few bucks and go with the LS, and i wanted the taller gears for the occational highway run too, but a GSR would be nice because of the oil squirters. If im going to build the engine anyway, is it worth it to spent the extra bucks on a GSR(are the oil squiters even an issue?), or will I be straight with an LS. This car will be completly built and will not be a daily driver its more of a project car. If you were me, which model would you go with? Thanks for all the help!

go even cheaper and get a rs. It has the same motor as the ls. You just don't get power windows, which you don't need anyway since it not daily driver.

me too. it's power locks that the RS is missing... that, along with ABS, cruise control and i think in some cases, A/C. also no sunroof option (but the bastard who previously owned my car had one custom installed... so when it broke, acura wouldn't fix it...)

The bastard who had my RS cut a sunroof into it, too. I hate it, it doesn't close all the way.

Have you ever had any trouble with your door locks or handles?

no problem with door locks or handles that i know of. they're manual, which is a pain only when i have a passenger, though forces me to be "chivalrous" at times...

my sunroof is really annoying due to the roof liner that was installed. it is more like a wool or cotton than a plastic on normal integras. it is not quite as taut, and there is a metal piece, feels regtangular, around the wiring for the overhead light , that rattles to no end. i drive with the sunroof cover/liner half open to pinch that area tighter, but sometimes the rattle spreads, and i make a corresponding adjustment to the liner. extremely annoying. i rarely, if ever, open the sunroof, and do only because it's there. i would never pay extra to have one, and would especially prefer not to have on on this car. oh well.

Mine are manual too, but mine are a real pain in the ***. The passenger side doesn't lock from the inside, so I have to walk around to lock it every time I have someone ride with me. My side has trouble locking from the outside, so sometimes when I get in, I have to climb through the passenger side. I know what you mean about having to be chivalrous, too, hehe.
